This wheelchair is built to the WC19 Wheelchair standards from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA). Furthermore, Broda wheelchairs pass a rigorous crash test through the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI).
