About the WC19 Transport Package
The WC19 Transport package allows for safe patient transport in an accessible vehicle. This package adds the convenience of keeping the individual in the same wheelchair for everyday care and transportation. This reduces the number of transfers and improves the overall comfort and safety for both the user and the caregiver. The WC19 Wheelchair standards are put forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) and tested by the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI).
